You know the group chat

Organising a game is the hardest part of the game.

Every week the same three problems turn a simple kickabout into a headache.

  • “Who’s actually coming?”

Fourteen thumbs-up, six people who show. You are counting heads at kickoff.

    → A live count, not a guess
  • “Someone dropped again.”

Two players bail an hour before, and now you are a man short with no way to backfill.

→ The waitlist fills the gap
  • “These teams are a joke.”

Whoever shouts loudest picks the sides, and it is 9–1 by half time.

    → Balanced by earned ratings

How it works

Three taps from idea to kickoff.

  1. Create the match

Pick a pitch, a time, and how many players you need. Set the cost and how it splits — everyone sees it up front.

  2. Share to WhatsApp

Drop one link in the group. Everyone taps to say they are in, and once it is full the waitlist holds the rest.

  3. Show up and play

Teams come balanced, the chat is in one place, and if somebody drops the next player is pulled in automatically.

What is inside

Everything the group chat cannot do.

  • Auto-waitlist

Game full? New players queue. Somebody drops and the next one is in — no chasing, no gaps at kickoff.

  • Fair teams

Sides balanced by ratings players earn from each other, not by who picks first. Drag anyone across if you disagree.

  • Games near you

Find open matches and empty spots on pitches around your city, and join one on your own.

  • Cost, made clear

Set the pitch fee and the split so everyone knows what they owe before kickoff. Cash changes hands offline, as it already does.

  • In-match chat

One thread per game for “running late” and “bring bibs”, instead of three overlapping group chats.

  • Earned ratings

Rate the players you played with afterwards. A reputation you build on the pitch, not one you type in.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Is Skwad free?

Yes. Organising a game and joining one both cost nothing, and there is no paid tier planned for launch.

How does paying for the pitch work?

You set the cost and how it splits — evenly, or losers pay. The app shows everyone the deal clearly and nothing more: the money changes hands in cash, in person, and never passes through us.

Can I play if I do not have a team?

Yes. Browse open games and empty spots on pitches near you and join on your own — you do not need to bring anyone.

What happens if somebody drops out?

As soon as a spot frees up, the next player on the waitlist is moved in and told. No more turning up a man short.

Get your next game going.

One link in the group chat, and your next match fills itself.
